The direct usage of the terminologies such as oxygen, antioxidant etc. A vague and half-assed explanation was given about how that though the Somras is beneficial to some, it can cause side-effects among others Nagas, Brangas and so, even though it started out as "Good", it has now out of nowhere been declared as "Evil" and must be destroyed. Shiva gathers his forces, Battles are fought, allies are formed and also Vayuputras come into the picture. At the very beginning of 'The Oath of the Vayuputras' , Amish raises a very pertinent question of what is the tipping point when good becomes evil and vice versa and how does one come to a conclusion about it. The Somras is supposed to have such bad side effects on people consuming them that Shiva has to stop its production and the novel is about whether he succeeds in it. This was the worst cop out done by Amish in the novel.

03 The Oath Of The Vayuputras Amish Tripathi Evil Alive
I would definitely love for Amish to continue writing such novels and entertaining us all the more. But here the mystery is shown in the very beginning and hence Amish has ebook bank on his narrative force which lets the novel down.
Amish left the readers on such a high after the 2nd book that he had to hit a home run with this one or else, it was doomed to fail. I was reminded of 'The Return Of The Aryans' which postulated that the Aryans migrated from India, conquered the world and came back again, the implication being that we Indians were vayupurras birthplace of pretty much everything good.

See all 6 questions about The Oath of the Vayuputras…. The author may not have done it in the most spectacular fashion but he certainly did achieve what he set out to. Like I'd mentioned in my review of the book, Ov thought there was some imagination at work. Why was Gopal the chief of Vasudev's? The purpose of the series is to present the readers with our mythology in tye way that they can understand and connect with.

How was mahadev more stronger and better than the simpleton lady who decided to bear his anger for no fault of her, Or from Parvateshwar or from Kartik? I oaath expecting something new.
I read the trilogy back to back in a span of four days, needless to say how glued I was after immortals. Because he was Shiva's friend or because he was individually capable like Gopal and Mithara? Either nuclear physics worked differently in ancient times or the author didn't do his research. Even, in this book, Thhe Gita is referred!! Feb 26, Alen Joy rated it it was amazing Shelves: Towards the last part there is a set piece action involving Sati in single combat and the novel picks up again vqyuputras this point.
And then came the third book. I died laughing when I read the following paragraph: Amish must be a very brave and a genius person for choosing a mythological fiction for vaguputras work. Oh wait, sbook that can't happen yet, at least not in this decade since the Shiva in this book curses so often. Apparently, it was all planned from the beginning that Shiva was going to be the Neelkanth.
This is probably an example of the predecessors leaving too high a bar for the last instalment to leap over!
He just made a guess about Amrit when he realized coin turning. They were very simple yet held a lot of meaning. But Mahadev's actions is supposed to be a legacy for the future in author's thw.
My grouse on this may seem to be overreacting, Amish may not have seen it like this and he was probably following a template established by Dan Brown, but this book and series could be used by right wing nuts as some kind of propaganda for 'Bharat'.
THE OATH OF THE VAYUPUTRAS | Author Amish
Published February 27th by Westland first published Nov 14, Ujjawal Sureka rated it really liked it. At pages at least pages more thicker than previous booksAmish has wasted no opportunity to 'enlighten' us readers - nuclear fission, nuclear fusion, their impacts, the yugas treta, dwapar etcage of Brahmin, Kshatriya etc etc.
Both of them apparently died an untimely death at the end of book 2.
